About the Prints

The prints you receive are created using a "Pigment-based InkJet Printer" what this means to you is that the prints are archival quality and when displayed or stored properly, can last many generations - much longer than a traditional photograph or an ink jet printed with dye technology. More specifically, I use Epson's K3 Pigment based inks which have lightfast rating over 100 years in color and over 200 years in black & white (as tested by Wilhelm Research). These inks and the professional level printers that use them have become the standard for the fine art photography community.

I use several fine art papers when I print based on the image and my personal taste (as well as requests from clients).  Some of my favorite papers are made by:  Epson, MOAB, Sommerset, Hahnemühle, Museo, Brilliant and Arches.

Sizes

Several sizes are available depending on the aspect of the photo.  Generally, in inches, 8x10, 8.5x11, 11x14, 11x17 or 13x19 prints will be available for prints that fit the correct aspect with a minimum of cropping.  Other sizes can be arranged.  I accept payment via PayPal, so feel free to write if you have an inquiry about a specific piece -  brian@brianwilsonphotography.com.

Matting

I use conservation quality alpha-cellulose or cotton rag buffered matte board, mostly from Archival Solutions, but also from other archival quality manufacturers depending on client request and availability from the supplier.  My primary concern is that the quality and the archival life of your photograph meet the highest possible standard.
